MEET FTASJ
The San Jose Truck Association, or FTASJ, is made up of the best street food vendors in San Jose. They are a varied and carefully selected group of culinary experts who work throughout the San Jose region.
We are dedicated to bringing San Joseans and our members together for special food truck catering experiences because we think that food unites people. At the same time, we are working hard to preserve San Jose's famous street food culture through our advocacy work.
Above all, we are community-driven, constantly striving to maintain excellent food, uphold street safety, and improve the whole food truck experience.
Food Truck Catering
FTASJ focuses on full-service mobile catering. We curate unique, memorable experiences by connecting clients to a wide array of local food truck vendors. Boasting over 100 members, we provide endless options in food trucks and cuisines, sure to satisfy any craving and elevate any event.
The events we cater range from weddings, birthday parties, and bar mitzvahs to corporate and employee appreciation events, happy hours, and festivals. Whatever your event, we have the solution.

Advocacy and Empowerment
There are two distinct and significant ways that the San Jose Food Truck Association supports local food truck businesses.
First, FTASJ ensures that our vendors are opened to a world of new business opportunities through event catering and other streams of revenue. Because FTASJ was founded by Ben Goldberg, a former food truck owner who experienced first-hand how challenging it can be to rely solely on fickle street sales, our association is designed to ensure our vendors stay relevant and busy year-round through these catering opportunities that, in turn, empower our members to grow their businesses.
Second, to represent the interests of our members and the food truck industry as a whole, FTASJ devotes a substantial amount of time and resources to lobbying the local and state governments. We stay up to date on any potential policy, rule, or regulation changes that directly affect our members. Since FTASJ is constantly monitoring the industry, we can use our knowledge to give local mobile companies a voice.
