Mark Raymond, Chef & Owner. Mark has honed his cooking skills literally around the world, having worked in kitchens in New Zealand, Australia, London, Spain and Sonoma. He was even an opening chef for the infamous Roxanne’s Living Foods restaurant in Larkspur.
He spent five years working in the wine industry as a Cellar Assistant, National Sales Manager, General Manager, and Winery Chef, which has given him a great sense of the art of wine and food pairing.
In 2010, he started Mark’s the Spot Fine Food, and has been featured in The New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler, & mutiple others.
